SimpleLog is a lightweight radio logging application designed for operators who want a simple, fast, and reliable way to manage their contacts without the complexity of large database-driven systems.

It provides powerful tools for daily logging, contact management, QSL tracking, award statistics, backups, and integration with external logging applications — while keeping your data fully under your control. ## Your logbook, your data

Unlike many logging applications that rely on proprietary databases, SimpleLog uses a completely transparent approach. Its native SLF logbook format is simply a plain text file with fields separated by semicolons (;) — essentially a CSV file with a different extension.

This means you can easily access, inspect, edit, import, or export your logs using any spreadsheet application or text editor. A SimpleLog file can be opened directly in software such as Microsoft Excel simply by changing its extension from ".slf" to ".csv", and after editing it can be saved and renamed back to ".slf" — no proprietary database tools, no complex conversion process. Your logbook remains accessible, portable, and fully under your control at all times.
